Spolu s dobrou zprávou, že se obsah OECD iLibrary v červenci 2024 stane volně dostupným, přichází špatná zpráva, že bude přesunut na novou webovou stránku bez jakýchkoliv pokročilejších vyhledávacích funkcí, které potřebují profesionální uživatelé. Dojde také ke ztrátě obsahu, protože většina starších dokumentů šedé literatury nebude migrována z aktuálního webu OECD. Ztráta funkcí a ztracený obsah je špatná věc, takže v Coherent Digital chceme zákazníkům iLibrary pomoci zachovat funkce a dokumenty, které potřebují. Proto jsme zaindexovali veškerou šedou literaturu OECD.org a všechny dokumenty iLibrary OECD do služby Policy Commons: Global Think Tanks, kde budou dostupné vedle dokumentů Světové banky, MMF, IEA, Asijské rozvojové banky a obsahu od více než 11 000 dalších nevládních organizací, mezivládních organizací a think tanků. With the good news that the OECD iLibrary will move to Open access in July 2024 comes the bad news that it will be moved to a new website with none of the scholarly search features you need. There will also be a loss of content, as most of the older grey literature documents will not be migrated from the current OECD website. Lost functionality and lost content is a bad thing, so at Coherent Digital we want to help iLibrary customers retain the features and documents they need. That's why we have indexed all the OECD.org grey literature and all the OECD iLibrary documents into Policy Commons, where it will sit alongside documents from the World Bank, IMF, IEA, Asian Development Bank and content from more than 11,000 other NGOs, IGOs and Think Tanks.
